Dressing Room and other stuff!

New items at The Dressing Room, peeps, and I have some other goodies for you, too!

My featured Dressing Room items are the new Helena 02 skin from Tuli (L$65), the Somebody’s Baby hair from Shag (L$70), the Gonzo Jeans from Fishy Strawberry (L$55), and the Open Cargidans from So Many Styles (L$50). Please note that the open cardigans are just that: open! You’ll need to find a top to go underneath them, as Mar has done here with the top from the dress by A-Bomb :)

Hey there, Cinderella. Got a ball to go to and you’re still in your newbie rags? The skin is from the free set of Kalista skins at Tuli‘s mainstore (you can also find the free pack of Gem eyes there. Mar is wearing the sapphire shade here). Head into the big tree and you’ll find them on the stump just inside. The hair is from the free Susan fatpack by Exile at Savoir Hair, and the jewellery is the Ex Stripper set, to be found in the lucky board on the top floor at Ticky Tacky. Whopping L$5 sale at Imani!

Thanks to Emma at Emma’s SL Style Bargains for the headsup to this fabulous sale at Imani. Everything in the store, from clothing to accessories to eyes, is just L$5. Yep, you read that right: the whole store is on sale. I’ve no idea how long it’ll last, so leg it over there and grab some bargains!

Mar snagged a handful of items to showcase here. These are just examples of all the colours available. Most items are to be had in at least half a dozen shades, with discounts on fatpacks, too!

Some new skins for you!

First up we have the group gift from Exodi VIPs (L$250 to join) of these beautiful Isolde skins. You’ll get four skintones, with varying cleavage and brow options:

The other two skins that I have for you today are both from the new collection at The Dressing Room. I’m not going to blog the collection this week but the usual suspects are there (GLOW Studio, Glam Affair, Aoharu, and more) and boys, you should head over because there’s a great hair and hat combination from CheerNo there for you this week.

Friday night: the LBD

We all need one, don’t we, girls? The famous Little Black Dress, or LBD. Today, Mar has put together a look around an LBD she has featured before, because there are some fab new group gifts around that go perfectly with it.

The dress is Elsinore from the Glam Affair/Beauty Avatar Couture Discount Room (see this post for how to get there once you’ve landed). For just L$10 you’ll get the dress and the gorgeous lacy mask for your eyes. The shoes are a group gift from Baby Monkey (free to join: the gift is in group notices together with a white pair of shoes, as well) – the Dita pumps, complete with fishnets (you can also wear them without the fishnets). The hair is a group gift (free to join) called Donna from Adam n Eve, and you’ll get black, blue, and ‘mermaid’ (a deep sea-blue-green) shades. Search for Adam n Eve sachi Vixen update group and you’ll find the gift in group notices.

Lastly, the eyes are free at Tuli‘s mainstore. You’ll find five beautiful gemstone eye colours in a purple giftbox inside the store. Mar is wearing the sapphire version. Also inside you’ll find a pink cylinder right behind the eyes, containing a free pack of Tuli’s Kalista skins in four tones. Lastly, for group members (L$250 to join, and have your group tag active when you click!) there’s a green box containing a preview of Tuli’s Tanya skin in two brow colours, which is shown in the preview image here.

Mar’s a happy bunny, because the new collection of limited edition, el cheapo-priced designer items has just gone out at The Dressing Room. There’s something for everyone: from fashionistas to homebodies, hair-lovers to shoe-lovers, two items for the guys (and more that are unisex) and yet another stunning skin from Tuli. Some of these prices are above the blog’s usual L$50 remit, but for The Dressing Room I will make exceptions ;)

Hello, my lovelies :)

There’s a lovely free Lyra skin, shape, and eyes going for a song – well, for just 25 slaps – on the Midnight Mania board at Ibanez. When I arrived a few moments ago the board had a criminal zero number of clicks on it! I was number one, so let’s get that board moving over the next couple of days. Here’s a teaser:

There are also a free set of eyes and a pair of free dragonfly wings just inside the store, so hop on over to get them and give the board a slap while you’re there!

New default avatars!

Oh my gosh, what a surprise awaited me when I checked the Library folder of my Inventory. Under ‘clothing’ and then ‘initial outfits’ are twelve new default avatars created by Adam n Eve. I tried on all the female options, and girls you need to look at them! If nothing else, the shoes and hair deserve places in your main folders, and some of the outfits are fabby, too! Guys, there are outfits for you, too, but you need to check those out yourselves; I didn’t have time to get around to them today.

Here’s a sample outfit: the Female Rocker. It comes with everything you see here, including two colours of t-shirt.
