A 24-hour winter warmer

Hi peeps! I’ve been away from my computer for a few days, but I’ve come back with a lovely, limited-time cheapie for you to snag. The Domicile store @ Gentleman Bastards will be selling their fully-furnished Autumn Skybox for just L$50 for 24 hours. The sale starts at 12 noon SLT today (Saturday November 27th) and continues until 12 noon SLT tomorrow (Sunday November 28th). After that the price will return to L$500, so if you can grab it during the sale time you’ll be getting a whopping discount!

Sn@tch up a bargain!

Until tomorrow evening (Thursday November 4th) these two gorgeous Velvet Drape Dresses are available in a single pack at Sn@tch, for just L$69. Look on the easel just inside the lobby of the store for them. You’ll get a rose dress and a brown dress in the pack.

Mar’s sunglasses in both pics are from a sim whose name I’m not even going to try to spell ;) Hop over there and look on the catwalk and floor for three rezzed pairs of sunglasses. They’re freebies, and great quality! Guys, one of the pairs are vintage Wayfarers, so there’s something for you there, too!

L$10 male skins at Pixeldolls – today only!

Here’s a quickie for the boys (oh, get your minds out of the gutter!) Pixeldolls has a very limited sale on this weekend only (so today – Sunday Oct 24th – is your only chance to get these) and included in that sale are male skins for just L$10. You’ll get five skins in each pack: the same tone but with five different body hair options. There are free demos under each pack for you to try out first (but for goodness’ sake no getting naked in the store, okay? It’s a PG sim! Take your shirt off, by all means, but no crown jewels!)

New collection at The Dressing Room

It’s that time again! A new collection of designer cheapies has been released at The Dressing Room. Mainly items for the girls, but guys there’s a fabulous hairstyle from CheerNo for you, so hop over and check it out.

Mar’s showcasing the new Helena 04 skin (L$65)  from Tuli, the Ballone Dress Lilac (L$60) from R.icielli, and the Cala Saona shoes (L$60) from Your Skin & Your Shape. Note: the dress is a bit longer than this, but I preferred to wear it as a top with jeans, so I shortened it and moved the little tie section up.

Dressing Room and other stuff!

New items at The Dressing Room, peeps, and I have some other goodies for you, too!

My featured Dressing Room items are the new Helena 02 skin from Tuli (L$65), the Somebody’s Baby hair from Shag (L$70), the Gonzo Jeans from Fishy Strawberry (L$55), and the Open Cargidans from So Many Styles (L$50). Please note that the open cardigans are just that: open! You’ll need to find a top to go underneath them, as Mar has done here with the top from the dress by A-Bomb :)

A blazing good gift at SF Design!

SF Design‘s September freebie is this fabulous blue blazer. When you land, to your left is the womenswear store and to your right is the menswear store. Both of them have a free blazer set out for L$0!

Mar headed to the lovely Weston Marina for her photoshoot, and opted for yellow accessories. The Maya bag is just L$5 from Chuculet, and the Everyday Hoops earrings are just L$1 from the top floor discount room at Ticky Tacky. Other items worn include: The Peiran shirt by Axel (an old group gift), Dante shoes and Voyage sunglasses by Kalnins (not free, or even cheap; sorry!) and the L$10 Kerava Shorts from the Glam Affair/Beauty Avatar Couture discount room. Hair is from the freebie Susan fatpack by Exile at Savoir Hair.

Baby Monkey has a sweet little pair of Cute Button Wedges for just L$10 at the desk inside the door. Mar’s teamed them with the L$10 Katiuscia dress in peach, from the Glam Affair/Beauty Avatar Couture discount room (see this post for how to get there). You’ll need to edit the skirt of the dress; see towards the end of this post for instructions (it’s really simple!)
